Ferry To Stornaway

from Calanais by Lissa-Käthe

/

about

I was not in any way prepared for the magnificence of the North Atlantic sea as I sailed across on the ferry to the Isle of Lewis and Stornaway. The rhythm of the waves on the bow were so mesmerising. I was now getting closer to the standing stones of Calanais that I had come so far to touch. This is an improvisation on my harp that takes me back to this glorious morning.
