Stac Pollaidh

from Calanais by Lissa-Käthe

/

about

On a hike in the Scottish highlands, I climbed the rocky Stac Pollaidh. The breathtaking views from the 612 mtrs gave me a sense of returning to a land I left long ago. This improvisation on two harps, gave me that feeling again of scrambling up those crumbling rocks of torridonian sandstone, and the chaotic arrangement of its many pinnacles and steep gullies.
